The extensive features of the TTK 66 E include the numerous and high standards of the HomeComfort series. But the dehumidifier also has other exclusive characteristics.

This elegant dehumidifier, in a decidedly simple white, is highly recommended – for example, in terms of dehumidification capacity. The TTK 66 E extracts up to 24 litres of moisture from the ambient air per day and is suitable for rooms up to 50 m².

The TTK 66 E offers four operating modes, ensuring drier and more comfortable room air. On the one hand, there is hygrostat-controlled automatic dehumidification with a target value selection between 35 and 85% relative humidity in comfortable 5% steps, including an activatable turbo fan. On the other hand, there is the special comfort function. With this function, the TTK 66 E automatically adjusts the air humidity value to a comfortable level depending on the temperature. Other available operating modes include the laundry drying function and continuous operation.

Comfort function: temperature-dependent air dehumidification

For an optimal indoor climate, temperature and air humidity must be correlated. And this is precisely where temperature-dependent dehumidification comes into play. The device adjusts the air humidity value to the optimal value depending on the temperature. The comfort function is particularly recommended when using program-controlled heating systems. The dehumidifier automatically adapts its dehumidification power according to the change in ambient temperature, both day and night.

Convincing range of functions

With the practical 24-hour timer function, you can set in advance when the device will automatically switch on or off. The range of functions is completed by an indicator light that signals when the maximum water tank level is reached and overflow protection with automatic shutdown. Another special feature of the dehumidifier is a discreet viewing window on the front, which also allows visual inspection of the water tank level.

The washable air filter and the drainage connection that allows unattended continuous operation complete the convenient features of the TTK 66 E and make the unit extremely easy to use. Changing the location of use of this dehumidifier is a real breeze, thanks to the practical cable holder, integrated carrying handles, and swivel castors.

Automatic restart function

Thanks to the automatic restart function (or memory function), after an unexpected shutdown due to a power outage, the device restarts with the preselected setting as soon as power is available again. This makes the dehumidifier also suitable for use with a timer.

Gentle laundry drying with dehumidifiers
In addition to room dehumidification, a dehumidifier can be conveniently used for laundry drying, either as a support or as a full replacement for a common tumble dryer. The laundry drying function (or also textile drying mode or SuperDry function) is comparable to traditional outdoor air drying.

Dehumidifiers offer the advantage that laundry is dried gently as in nature. Colours remain vibrant, and garments have a longer lifespan than they would with conventional tumble dryers, and all with significantly lower energy consumption.

Furthermore, delicate materials such as wool, silk, or synthetic fibres can also be dried without problems. Unlike simple outdoor air drying, laundry is much softer and more pleasant to the touch.

Laundry drying is also possible with dehumidifiers without the laundry drying function. The nominal air humidity value should be set according to the desired residual humidity:

Cupboard dry: 46% relative humidity

Iron dry: 58% relative humidity

Partially dry:  65% relative humidity

Propane (R290) as an environmentally friendly refrigerant in dehumidifiers
Every year, synthetic refrigerants release several million tons of harmful CO2 emissions (greenhouse gases) into the air. Therefore, the use of alternative refrigerants is one of our most important goals. By using propane (R290) as a refrigerant, this dehumidifier makes a valuable contribution to climate protection.

The natural refrigerant propane (R290) is an organic compound that belongs to the hydrocarbon class. Unlike synthetic refrigerants, environmentally friendly propane (R290) has neither ozone depletion potential (ODP=0) nor a significant greenhouse effect (GWP=3).

An additional advantage for the environment: thanks to its excellent thermodynamic properties, propane (R290) is a particularly energy-efficient refrigerant and thus further reduces energy costs.
