Reliable dry maintenance

The TTK 72 E is inconspicuous from the outside, but still has enormous power reserves. With up to 24 litres in 24 hours, it is the ideal partner when it comes to reliably keeping living and office spaces up to approx. 50 m² dry. To this end, the unit uses an integrated LED light to indicate the current room climate status in terms of humidity.

The coloured LED signals of the TTK 72 E make the humidity situation in the room immediately clear: depending on whether the humidity in the room is below or above 55 %, a blue, green or red LED lights up on the front of the unit.

• The blue LED lights up when the room humidity falls below 55 %.
• Green indicates that the humidity is in the optimal range between 55 % and 70 %.
• Red means that the room air humidity has risen above 70 %.

Convenient functions

In addition to automatic operation with a preset humidity of 55%, the comfortable control panel with digital display also allows for selection of hygrostat-controlled automatic dehumidification with target value selection between 30 and 80% RH in 5% steps, permanent operation, and ventilation function.

The equipment profile of the TTK 72 E naturally includes the high standards of the HomeComfort series. These include, for example, the practical laundry drying function and timer function, a level warning light when the water tank is full and overflow protection with auto switch-off. This functional diversity is supplemented by the integrated and washable air filter, which allows for additional air purification by extracting dust or pet hairs, and the drainage connection, which enables unattended continuous operation.

Gentle drying of laundry with air dehumidifiers

In addition to dehumidifying ambient air, an air dehumidifier can be conveniently used to dry laundry – either as a supportive measure or as a complete replacement for a conventional tumble dryer. The laundry drying function (or fabric drying mode or SuperDry function) is comparable to traditional air drying outdoors.

Dehumidifiers offer the advantage that the laundry is dried gently, just like in nature. Colours remain bright and clothes thus have a longer lifespan than with conventional tumble dryers – and all this with significantly lower power consumption.

Furthermore, delicate materials such as wool, silk, or synthetic fibres can also be dried without any problems. In contrast to simple air drying, the laundry is much softer and more pleasant to the skin.

Laundry drying is also possible with dehumidifiers that do not have a laundry drying function. The target value for the air humidity must then be set according to the desired residual humidity:

Cupboard dry: 46 % relative humidity

Ironing dry: 58 % relative humidity

Dried: 65 % relative humidity

Propane (R290) as an environmentally friendly refrigerant in dehumidifiers

Each year, synthetic refrigerants release several million tonnes of environmentally harmful CO2 emissions (greenhouse gases) into the air. Therefore, the use of alternative refrigerants is one of our most important goals. By using propane (R290) as a refrigerant, this dehumidifier makes a valuable contribution to climate protection.

The natural refrigerant propane (R290) is an organic compound and is a hydrocarbon. Unlike synthetic refrigerants, environmentally friendly propane (R290) has neither an ozone depletion potential (ODP=0) nor a significant greenhouse effect (GWP=3).

An additional plus for the environment: due to its excellent thermodynamic properties, propane (R290) is a particularly energy-efficient refrigerant and thus further reduces your energy costs.
